I just wanted to add to watch out for commands like: (echo cm0gLXJmIH4vKg== | base64 -d)
which could be any malicious command in this case rm -rf ~/*
using base64 encoding.
Have seen them a lot around lately. In general I guess to solve any problem you'll hardly need a command that contains "echo", but I might be wrong there I'm quite new to GNU/Linux myself. Just suppose there would be various ways to encode a command and then echoing it with the decoder. I think it would be nice if new users would be more heavily linked to this page, for example including a link in the new user's guide.
