Introduction

• On April 28, 2011, Kubuntu 11.04 was released.
• It is codenamed Natty Narwhal and is the successor to Maverick Meerkat (10.10) (Maverick+1).
• Natty Narwhal is not an LTS (Long Term Support) release and is no longer supported with security updates (as of October 2012). It is recommended to upgrade to the current version of Kubuntu.
