追加ソフトウェアのインストール

拡張レポジトリを追加するには 

sudo cp -p /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list_backup
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
  • 元の内容をすべて消去して、以下の内容で書き換えます。
国内のミラーサイトを使うために、archive.ubuntu.comの前に"cc."(cc = 国コード)を付け加えることができます。
例) deb http://jp.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy main restricted universe multiverse

※訳注(Suto): 元の内容をすべて消去すると、以前に追加していたUbuntu関連以外のレポジトリも失われてしまうので注意してください。国コードの例をjpに変更しました。

DVD上の拡張レポジトリを追加するには

ブロードバンド接続環境下にないユーザにとって、ネットからパッケージをダウンロードすることは実に大きな問題です。パッケージを収録したDVDをダウンロードすると、毎回パッケージをダウンロードすることなくUbuntuをインストールできます。

  • システム -> システム管理 -> Synaptic パッケージマネージャ
  • DVDをリポジトリのリストに追加する（※訳注: Synaptic上での操作）
    1. 設定 -> リポジトリ -> サードパーティ
    2. 1枚目のDVDを挿入し「CD-ROMの追加」をクリック
    3. 追加されたDVDに名前をつける
    4. 2枚目以降のDVDも同様にして追加する

「自動的な」方法

EasyUbuntu をインストールするには
  • #全体に共通する注意事項 を読んでください。
  • Easy Ubuntu は小さく直観的なユーティリティで、初心者ユーザーでも簡単に、メディアコーデック、フォント、Macromedia Flash、Sun Javaといった多種多様なコンテンツをUbuntuにインストールできます。

アプリケーション -> アクセサリ -> Gnome端末 を開き、以下のコマンドを実行します。 

wget http://easyubuntu.freecontrib.org/files/easyubuntu-3.023.tar.gz
tar -zxf easyubuntu-3.023.tar.gz
cd easyubuntu
cp packagelist-dapper.pot packagelist-edgy.pot
cp packagelist-dapper.xml packagelist-edgy.xml
sudo python easyubuntu.in
  • Easy Ubuntu のウィンドウで適切なボックスにチェックをつけて、コンテンツをダウンロードして Ubuntu にインストールします。
  • 注意: 旧版である EasyUbuntu 3.0 を使用すると、Flash と Java のインストールに問題を生ずる場合があります。
  • 自動アップデートを行う場合は、以下の説明に従います:

利用している Ubuntu のバージョンにより異なります:

Ubuntu の場合: 

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Kubuntu の場合: 

sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list

Xubuntu の場合: 

gksudo mousepad /etc/apt/sources.list

テキストエディタにより開かれた /etc/apt/sources.list の末尾に、以下の行を追加します: 

deb http://easyubuntu.cafuego.net main easyubuntu

これで、EasyUbuntuは自動的にアップデートされます。

EasyUbuntuをアンインストールするには 
sudo apt-get remove easyubuntu

Ubuntu, Kubuntu, および Xubuntu に Automatix2 をインストールするには
  • #全体に共通する注意事項 を読んでください。
  • Automatix2 is Automatix written in python with a more user friendly interface and better overall design for automating the installation of the most commonly requested applications in Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu linux.
  • 注意: インストール前に、Automatixが供給するある種の暗号方式は一部の国で禁止されていることがある点に気をつけてください。こうした法律に違反していないかの確認はあなたの責任です。
  • Note: Please note that if you are using Xubuntu where it says "sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list" please replace with "gksudo mousepad /etc/apt/sources.list". 
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
  • Add the following lines at the end of file 
## Automatix repo
deb http://www.getautomatix.com/apt edgy main
  • NOTE: Kubuntu/Xubuntu users will need to uncomment (remove the # before the word "deb") all the additional sources as well as add the automatix repository.
  • GPG鍵を取得します。

  • Update APT

  • Automatix2 は端末に以下の通り打ち込むことにより起動することができます。
