Cum se adaugă noi arhive

Utilitând meniurile

Adăugaţi arhivele oficiale
System-->Administration-->Software Sources
Bifaţi arhivele de care credeţi că aveţi nevoie (main, universe, restricted, multiverse). Probabil nu aveţi nevoie de arivele 'sources'.

Adăugaţi arhivele neoficiale .
System-->Administration-->Software Sources-->Third-party software-->Add

Adăugaţi numele arhivei. De exemplu (pentru arhiva Medibuntu) :

APT line: deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ feisty free non-free

Downloadaţi şi instaţaţi cheile gpg astfel :

wget -q http://packages.medibuntu.org/medibuntu-key.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -

Utilizând consola

De asemenea poţi adăuga noi arhive folosind Managerul Synaptic . Noilor utilizatori s-ar putea să li se pară mai uşor să adauge noi arhive folosind Managerul. Dacă urmăreşti legatura de mai sus, nu mai trebuie să citeşti restul acestei secţiuni.

sudo cp -i /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list_backup
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Înlocuieşte totul cu urmtoarele linii

Salvează şi închide fişierul editat

wget -q http://packages.medibuntu.org/medibuntu-key.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update

De asemenea poţi găsi noi arhive si genera propriul tău fişier sources.list la: http://www.ubuntulinux.nl/source-o-matic

Poţi face uz şi de nişte fişiere sources.list foarte complete precum cel de aici. Nu ne asumam responsabilitatea pentru aceste fişiere doarece nu sunt creeate / menţinute de către noi.

Foloseşte propriul tău fişier sources.list doar dacă înţelegi cu adevărat ceea ce faci.

Cum se adaugă arhive de pe DVD

Pentru utilizatorii care nu dispun de o conexiune broadband instalarea pachetelor de pe internet poate fi o problemă. Puteţi însă să downloadaţi DVD-uri cu arhivele de programe care pot fi folosite pe mai multe sisteme fără a mai fi necesar sa downloadaţi pachete .
