Canonical Ltd.
6.06 x86 (Dapper Drake)
- "sudo" משמעותו superuser do.
- במידה ואינך רוצה להקיש שוב ושוב "apt-get" , קרא את #How to apt-get the easy way (Synaptic)(אנגלית)
- May the "humanity to others" spirit be with you always...
sudo apt-get install gedit
sudo ln -s /usr/bin/kate /usr/bin/gedit

- קרא את add extra repositories using the Synaptic Package Manager(אנגלית).
sudo cp -p /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list_backup sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
לפני archive.ubuntu.com (cc = קוד הארץ)
- לדוגמה deb http://il.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper main restricted universe multiverse
## Add comments (##) in front of any line to remove it from being checked. ## Use the following sources.list at your own risk. deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper main restricted universe multiverse deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper main restricted universe multiverse ## MAJOR BUG FIX UPDATES produced after the final release deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper-updates main restricted universe multiverse deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper-updates main restricted universe multiverse ## UBUNTU SECURITY UPDATES deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper-security main restricted universe multiverse deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper-security main restricted universe multiverse ## BACKPORTS REPOSITORY (Unsupported. RealPlayer10, Opera and more to come.) deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu dapper-commercial main
sudo apt-get update
- אפשרות נוספת היא להחליף את הקובץ sources.list שלך עם הקובץ המלא מ: sources.list (זכור להחליף את ה-"it" מ-"it.archive.ubuntu.com" עם קוד המדינה שלך.

Wine Is Not an Emulator. Wine is an Open Source implementation of the Windows API on top of X and Unix. Think of Wine as a compatibility layer for running Windows programs. Wine does not require Microsoft Windows, as it is a completely free alternative implementation of the Windows API consisting of 100% non-Microsoft code, however Wine can optionally use native Windows DLLs if they are available.
In other words, Wine will let you run Windows applications in Linux.
- First, add repository for Wine:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
- Add the following lines at the end of this file
# Repository for wine deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt dapper main deb-src http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt dapper main
- Save the edited file
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install wine
- For more info see http://www.winehq.com/
