Ubuntu talk:Edgy/Networking
From
Few weeks ago, I updated from 6.06 to 6.10 knot 2 and my wireless with WPA encryption stilled working.
But on yesterday, after installing 6.10 from scratch, I found this problem:
My wireless network didn't appear on the network list of network-manager.
It has sense considering I had the "SSID broadcasting" disabled in my wireless access point.
Then I tried through both "Connect to another wireless network" and "Create a new wireless network" to enter my network settings, but network-manager neither showed it as available network.
Finally, I had to enable the "SSID broadcasting" and disable+enable the network in network-manager to get WPA wireless connectivity in 6.10.
Have any of you found any trouble in this way?
Thanks a lot.
